Sometimes we come across events such as sky divers jumping down from a helicopter. Before the jump, it is impossible to know that you will be safe and it will be thrilling; similarly, the spiritual search is an adventure walking into the unknown terrain. It is natural to be fearful when we encounter the unknown. A new adventure, a new idea, a new realization that shifts old thinking and we can hesitate to continue our journey. Meditation helps us see our experience clearly and this helps us continue to make progress. Keep Meditating.

According to the Hindu calendar, Mahavir was born in the month of Chaitra on the thirteenth day of the waxing moon ( Shukla Paksh) . The place of birth of Mahavir is Kundalagram in Bihar. He was born as the son of King Siddhartha and Queen Trishala. When he was thirty years old, Mahavir renounced his crown, practised deep meditation for the next twelve years, and attained enlightenment.
